React Native Development
One codebase, two platforms, and a product that holds up under real users and real growth.
Cross-platform apps
iOS and Android from one React Native codebase — consistent UX with far less maintenance.
Native-grade performance
Smooth 60fps interactions, fast startup, and native modules wherever they matter.
API & backend integration
Secure connections to Node.js, Laravel and third-party APIs, built to scale.
Scalable architecture
Clean state management and structure so your app grows without grinding to a halt.
App rescue & migration
Fixing struggling builds, or migrating native and AI-built apps to maintainable React Native.
Store deployment
Full release to the App Store and Google Play, plus updates and ongoing support.
The fastest credible route to a polished app on both platforms — without doubling your build or your team.
1 codebase
Maintained once for both iOS and Android.
Faster launches
Ship to both app stores in a single release cycle.
Lower cost
One team and one build means less overhead and faster iteration.
How much does it cost to build an app?
Most app builds land between £15k and £30k+, depending on platforms, features and backend requirements. Projects start with a V1 Blueprint (£1,500 over 1–2 weeks, credited against the build), which ends with a fixed quote, so you know the total cost before development begins.
How long does it take to build an app?
It depends on the complexity of the app. A simple app that doesn’t communicate with any backend services can take a couple of weeks. Anything more complex, with user accounts, a backend and integrations, usually takes between 3 and 6 months.
Can you work with an existing app or codebase?
Yes. I’m happy to jump into an existing project — whether it’s improving performance, fixing bugs, or adding new features. I’ll start with a quick audit to understand the code quality and scope.
Do you handle publishing to the App Store and Google Play?
Absolutely. I manage the full deployment process, including store setup, certificates, screenshots, and compliance requirements to ensure your app is ready to launch.
Do you work with clients across Hertfordshire?
Yes. I’m a Hertfordshire-based app developer working with agencies, founders and teams across St Albans, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage and the wider UK. Most projects run remotely, with in-person meetings available across Hertfordshire when it helps.
Tell me about your project and I’ll come back with a clear plan, timeline and next steps.
